Australia Day Honours

Congratulations to past staff members and former students of Geelong Grammar School and Clyde School who received Australia Day Honours on 26 January 2023.




Amanda Elliott (Bayles, Clyde '69) was awarded Officer of the Order of Australia (AO) 'For distinguished service to the horse racing industry through a range of executive roles, and to the community.'




The late Colin Bell (Glamorgan '52) was awarded Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) 'For service to the financial services sector.'




Thomas (Tom) Buchanan (Past Toorak Staff) was awarded Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) 'For service to music, particularly through choirs.'




The late James (Jim) Wilson (Cu'56) was awarded Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) 'For service to the community through a range of roles.'
