APS Golf Day

The APS Golf Day was held on Friday 6 May at the Victoria Golf Club with the overflow groups at Royal Melbourne Golf Club. The Old Geelong Grammarians were the overall winners of the event taking out the Arthur Robinson Cup – the School who topped the leader board for the best average of their top 8 players scores which was -.75.  
 
OGG players Jock Mitchell (FB'18), Tom Cohen (M'09), Henry Mackinnon (M'09), Jimmy Legoe (M'97), Nick Bayne (FB'97), Hamish Cole (M'94), Ben Couch (P'97) and Ben Grodski (FB'91) were the top 8 players for the OGGs with the following scores:

  • The JS Campbell – RR Buxton Shield (Best 4bbb Par Score): Jimmy Legoe & Nick Bayne (GGS) With A Score Of +10 (On A Count Back) 
  • Presidents Trophies (Winning Score By School): 
    For Geelong Grammar – Ben Grodski (+3) 
  • Nearest The Pins:  14th – Harry Smiles (GGS), Royal Melbourne 16th – Hamish Cole (GGS) 
  • Longest Drive:  18th – Tom Cohen (GGS), Rm 17th – Ben Couch (GGS)
