Careers Discovery Day
Tuesday, 31 May 2022
We are seeking young OGGs to speak to Year 10 students about their job at our annual Careers Discovery Day at Corio Campus on Sunday 19 June.

Would you be interested in sharing your knowledge and experiences with our current students?

We will be hosting our annual Careers Discovery Day at Corio Campus on Sunday 19 June and are seeking young OGG to speak to Year 10 students about their job and the path they took to get there.

These discussions are invaluable for our Year 10 students who are making decisions about subjects for Years 11 and 12 and considering their own future careers.

This year’s Careers Discovery Day will be a little different than previous years. There will be a keynote speaker followed by panel discussions with young OGG. There will be four panels as per below and two 45-minute sessions for each, starting from 2.00pm:

1.    Business, Finance & Law
2.    Marketing, Communications & Design
3.    Health, Science & Sustainability
4.    Construction, Engineering & Technology

Andrew Swan (Fr’07) will also be providing a ‘University 101’ presentation for our Year 11 and Year 12 students, followed by a Uni Expo. Andrew is Principal of Mannix College at Monash University, having previously been Program Director of the Tuckwell Scholarship at ANU and College Head at Campbell Hall at Monash.

Please email OGGS@ggs.vic.edu.au if you are able to participate in the day and we will send you more information.

We look forward to hearing from you.
